Have you checked out the spring schedule yet? We have a variety of trips this spring. We had a lot of requests for longer trips, so here they are. What really makes these trips so special is the fact that they are Ultra Limited Load trips! 1.5, 2, and 2.5 day trips are all available this spring. This Thursday, April 3rd, we have a 2.5 that needs 5 more reservations to go. If you are looking for something shorter, there is a for sure go 1.5 departing April 8th. We are on our way back in this morning with 69 sculpin and 50 sandbass for our 35 anglers .

If you’re planning to go saltwater fishing aboard the MV Horizon or the MV Malihini at H&M Landing in San Diego, here are some useful tips to enhance your experience:

1. **Dress Appropriately:** Wear layers, as the weather can change quickly on the water. Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and suitable footwear.

2. **Listen to the Crew:** The friendly crews on the MV Horizon and MV Malihini are there to help you catch fish. Pay attention to their instructions and advice regarding which baits to use, where to cast, and how to reel in your catch.

3. **Bring a Camera:** Capture the memories of your fishing trip by bringing a camera or smartphone to take pictures of your catches and the stunning views.

4. **Be Patient:** Fishing can be unpredictable, so embrace the experience and practice patience. It may take some time to catch your first fish, but remember that the journey is just as important as the destination.

5. **Prepare for Motion Sickness:** If you’re prone to motion sickness, take precautions before boarding the boat—this may include taking medication or wearing motion sickness bands.
